Privacy Policy

Manager Mode ("we", "us") is operated by Manager Mode ("we"), 1275 Preserve Point Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789. This policy explains what we collect when you use getmanagermode.com and the Manager Mode app, why, and your choices. Contact: [email protected].

1. What we collect

• Account and contact info: name, artist/DJ name, email, and what you tell us in our intake form (genre, goals, links to your public profiles, the artists you look up to, your preferred voice/tone).
• Payment info: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we receive your name, email, billing country and payment status.
• Spotify for Artists CSV files you choose to upload (streams, listeners, saves and similar stats).
• Content folder files: if you connect Dropbox or Google Drive, or paste a shared folder link, we read the media files (video, audio, images) and their names/dates in the folder you choose so we can plan your posts.
• Usage data: basic logs (IP address, browser, pages visited, errors) to keep the service secure and working.

We never ask for or collect your social media passwords. Posting happens through your own Viraly account.

2. Dropbox and Google Drive access

• You sign in on Dropbox's or Google's own page. We never see your Dropbox or Google password.
• We request read-only access, limited to the folder/files you select where the provider supports it. We do not edit, delete, move or share your files.
• We check the folder for new clips about once a day, only to build your posting calendar, captions and on-screen text.
• We keep working copies of files we pull for up to 30 days, then delete them automatically. Your originals stay in your Dropbox/Drive.
• When you disconnect (in the app, or by revoking access in your Dropbox/Google settings), we delete our access tokens and the copies of your files within 7 days.

3. Google API Services: Limited Use

Manager Mode's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data from Google Drive is used only to provide the user-facing features described above; we do not sell it, use it for advertising, use it to build user profiles for others, or use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models; humans do not read it except with your permission, for security reasons, to comply with law, or where data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

4. How we use your information

• To create your release kit, weekly "3 moves" emails, posting calendar, captions, pitches and other features you signed up for.
• To process payments, provide support and send service emails.
• To send marketing emails if you opted in; you can unsubscribe anytime.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

5. AI providers

We use the OpenAI API and the xAI (Grok) API to generate text from your data. They act as our processors/service providers: they process the data only to return results to us, under their API terms, which state that API data is not used to train their models by default. We send only what is needed for the task.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Manager Mode: Stripe (payments), OpenAI and xAI (AI generation), Dropbox/Google (only to read the files you connect), Google and Cloudflare (email delivery), Cloudflare (hosting), and Viraly when you send approved posts to your own Viraly account. We may disclose data if required by law.

7. Facebook, Instagram and Meta data

If you connect or link Instagram/Facebook accounts (directly or via Viraly), we use that data only to provide the features you request. To delete any such data, email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion" or use "Delete my account" in the app; we delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

8. Retention and deletion

• Pulled file copies: up to 30 days. Tokens and copies: deleted within 7 days of disconnect.
• CSV data and generated kits: kept while your account is active so you can access them, and deleted within 30 days after you close your account.
• Payment and tax records: kept as long as the law requires.
• You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data anytime at [email protected].

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest with our providers; access tokens are stored encrypted and access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to processing of your data, and to not be discriminated against for using them. Email us to exercise them.

11. Children

Manager Mode is not for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
